"Good efort" is defined in the sutras as a trend of designing for ourselves good/right habits, and stopping bad habits. One of the tools used in all caltures for designing habits is the text. On the other hand, clinging to the textes is described in the sutras as one of the first obstacles that has to be overcome. Is there a buddhist wedding ceremony? Is there a buddhist prayer?
In this evening we'll talk about buddhist textes - personal and public and on the right way to use them, and the principles which they express, in the frame of our practice.
Pannanando Bhikkhu is a buddhist israeli monk, who was ordained in Thailand, and is now staying in Ramat-Gan
The evening is suitable for beginners as well as experienced meditators.
It is recommended to come with comfortable cloths for sitting.
The day is offered on a dana basis. At the end of the evening contributions may be offered for sustaining the "Sangha House".
The is no need for registration.
