A Weekend of Metta Meditation with Simi Levi
A Weekend of Metta Meditation Retreat with Simi Levi
Location: Ein Dor
“you can search all over the universe someone who deserves your love and affection more than you yourself, and this person will be found nowhere. You yourself, like every other person in the universe, deserve your love and affection”. The Buddha
Metta (loving-kindness) Meditation is a form of a meditation taught by the Buddha in order to liberate the heart from patterns of anger, guilt, fear, shame and tension.
This meditation offers a kind and wise cultivation of kindness, befriending and a connection to the world, and its practice help sowing the seeds for deep liberation through love, compassion and happiness.
On this weekend we will learn and cultivate Metta (loving-kindness) and Karuma (forgiveness).
This weekend is designed for those who already completed a week long retreat.
Volunteers Needed:
In order to hold these courses successfully, we need helping hands both in the kitchen and in management roles. Volunteers experience a “Service Retreat” which is an opportunity to combine giving and meditation practice: sitting on the pillow and a daily practice. Tovana Foundation is based and run largely by volunteers. During last year, about 200 practitioners volunteer in various courses in Ein Dor, in addition to around 50 volunteers in permanent duties. You are invited to volunteer and practice by doing.
